World Wide Export Centre

You can find World Wide Export Centre at 636 and 637 in the Main Bazar of Pahar Ganj. This area is always packed with travelers, backpackers, and local vendors. Our shop is right in the middle of all that chaos and energy. We deal with exports, so we have a lot of different goods coming through our doors every week. Boxes are stacked nearly to the ceiling most days, making it hard to move around. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork and talk to shipping agents. It is a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, but we have some strong overhead lights to see what we are doing. We do not have a fancy storefront at all. Most of our business is done over the phone or through regular contacts we have known for years. People walk by all day, and sometimes we have to step outside to direct the delivery trucks through the narrow street. It gets very hot in the summer, so we keep a couple of fans running constantly to stay cool. We drink a lot of chai from the guy down the street who knows our order. It is not a quiet place to work, but we like the energy of Pahar Ganj. We have been in these units for many years and know all the other shopkeepers. It is a simple operation, really.
