Woodcraft Int.

Woodcraft Int. is situated at 2/4 East Patel Nagar. We’ve been in this neighborhood for quite some time now. You can usually hear us before you see us because there is always some sawing or sanding going on. We work with wood, making furniture and other things for homes. It is a dusty job and the smell of sawdust is everywhere in our shop. We aren’t a big factory with machines doing everything. A lot of what we do is by hand, using tools that have seen better days but still work fine. We don't have a polished office; it’s more of a workshop where we spend most of our time. Sometimes we make mistakes, like a joint not being perfectly tight, and we have to start over on that piece. That is just how it goes when you’re working with your hands. We aren’t interested in sounding corporate or fancy. We are just woodworkers. People in East Patel Nagar know us well. They come by when they need a chair fixed or a new cupboard made. We don’t have a website with professional photos. We just show people what we’re working on at the moment if they ask. It is a basic way of doing things, but it works for us. We enjoy the process of turning a piece of timber into something useful. It keeps us busy and pays the bills. That is really all there is to it.
