We operate out of a house in Vikaspuri, specifically H.NO C-791. It’s a residential-feeling area, which we like because it’s not as loud as the main markets. Vivekanand Educational Research Foundation is really just a handful of us working together. We’ve been here in West Delhi for a long time. The office is really just a few rooms converted for our work. It’s got a lived-in feel to it. You won't find any sleek glass desks or high-tech gadgets here. We use what we have and focus on getting the work done. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and we can hear them while we work. It makes the place feel more like a home than an office. We don't have a big team or any fancy titles. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. Vikaspuri has changed over the years, with more shops and cars now, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We like the consistency of it. It’s an everyday kind of place for everyday kind of work. We don’t spend time on making ourselves look bigger than we are. We are just a small foundation doing our thing in 110018. If the gate is open, it usually means someone is inside working. We don't have official hours that we stick to strictly; we just stay until the job is done.
