Vidya Chhavi Foundation

Our office is over in Wazirabad, specifically in Block F. You have to go to Gali Number 6 and look for House Number 29. We are on the first floor in Flat Number 8. It can be a bit tricky to find if it is your first time in this part of New Delhi because the lanes are narrow. We moved into this spot a while back because it was central for the people we see. The village of Wazirabad has a lot going on and there is always noise outside our window. It is mostly just us sitting around a couple of desks, making sure the foundation’s work gets handled. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, someone is there to answer the door if you knock. We spend a lot of time on local matters. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet acts up, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It’s a real neighborhood place. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the families living nearby. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street. It is a modest setup, nothing like those big corporate buildings you see in the city. We just wanted a quiet corner in a busy village to do what we need to do. It fits the Vidya Chhavi Foundation just fine. Most days, we are just happy to have a roof over our heads and work to finish.
