Vashisht Impex Pvt. Ltd. is based out of D2/64 in Janak Puri. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our setup here. The office is basically just a few desks and a lot of files. We’ve been doing this for a while, and it’s become a bit of a routine. We deal with import and export stuff, which basically means we spend a lot of time waiting for emails and checking on containers. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Janak Puri is a good place to be, though traffic can get pretty bad during the rush hour. We don’t have a big team of people in fancy clothes. It’s just us, usually in jeans or whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. We’ve had our share of mistakes over the years, but we always try to fix them. That’s how you learn, I guess. We don't put out brochures or have big signs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve worked with us before. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t try to sound more important than we are. We just handle the logistics and try to keep things moving smoothly. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to catch up on the filing. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here at the office in D2/64. We keep the tea hot and the printer running.
