Usha Advertisers

Usha Advertisers is based in the Flatted Factories Complex at Jhandewalan, specifically at unit C-45. This complex is a huge place with hundreds of small businesses all packed together. It can be quite a maze for someone who hasn't been here before. We spend our days working on different advertising projects, which usually means a lot of printing and assembly work. The machines we use take up a lot of the floor space, so we have to watch our step. There is always a lot of paper around and the scent of ink is pretty thick in the air. Jhandewalan is a very busy commercial hub, so there is constant movement in the corridors of the complex. We know most of the other shop owners on our floor, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. Our unit isn't very big, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Sometimes the elevator in the building breaks down, and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which is quite a workout. We don't really do much to promote ourselves; most people find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign while walking to another unit in the complex. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy environment, but we’ve been doing this for a long time and we like the routine of it all at C-45.
