Started the shop years back in Karol Bagh. It's on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, number 1110/13. Every morning I pull up the shutters and sweep the floor before the traffic gets bad. It’s a noisy street with plenty of horns honking. People come in looking for specific parts for their cars. Sometimes we have what they need on the shelf, other times we have to look through the back. It’s a lot of grease and metal. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We sit on small stools and drink tea while waiting for the next person. The address isn't hard to find if you know the lane. 1110/13 is written right above the door. Most days are the same, just keeping track of the stock and making sure the shop stays organized. It gets dusty because of all the construction nearby. I usually wear an old shirt because of the oil. We don't have fancy lights or anything. Just a few tube lights and some fans that rattle when they are on high. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat about the local news. It’s just how it is here. We stay until the sun goes down and then head home. It’s honest work and we’ve been at this spot for a long time now. Just Uppal Auto Spares doing what we do in Karol Bagh.
