Umang Image Ltd. is located at A - 155 in Lajpat Nagar 1st. If you’ve been to Lajpat Nagar, you know it’s a busy part of town with a lot of shops and people everywhere. Our place is tucked into one of the streets there. We deal with imaging stuff, so there’s always a lot of technical gear around the office. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of people in at once. We don’t really have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or checking equipment. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The local tea stall is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is just part of living and working here. We’re just a small group of people trying to run a steady business in a busy city. That's about it for what we do here.
