Umade Us Foundation

Umade Us Foundation is tucked away in the basement at 80/43-A in Malviya Nagar. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, right under the main level where Ramesh Kumar Seth and Rikhi Kesh Seth are. You have to walk down a short flight of steps to find us. The basement stays fairly cool even when the Delhi summer gets really hot, which is a nice bonus. It’s not a very big space, and the lighting is what you’d expect for a basement, but it serves our purpose. We have our files stacked along the walls and a couple of old desks we brought in when we first moved here. Malviya Nagar is always busy, with people moving around and cars honking outside, but once you’re down here, it gets a lot quieter. We handle most of our paperwork and planning from this little corner of South Delhi. It’s a no-frills kind of place. We don’t have fancy furniture or a coffee machine, just a kettle and some biscuits for when we take a break. Most people who visit are locals who know the area well. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time because the entrance isn't very wide. We’ve grown fond of this basement over the months. It’s our home base, and it works for the kind of daily tasks we need to get through without any distractions. It is just a simple place for our small team to work.
