We are located at Scindia House, number 9, right in the middle of Connaught Circus. It is an old building and you have to take the stairs to the second floor most of the time. Most days here start with a lot of phone calls about export papers and trade fairs. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic and people walking around CP. We spend a lot of time at our desks checking documents or talking to people who want to sell things abroad. The office isn't very fancy but it works for us. Usually, someone goes out to get tea for everyone around mid-morning. We have files stacked up in the corners because there is always something to track. Lunch is often something quick from one of the nearby stalls or a dabba brought from home. Sometimes the lift works and sometimes it doesn't, so we just walk. It is a busy place because there is always another trade event coming up. We talk to people from all over the country who are trying to get their products into different markets. By the time evening rolls around, the lights in the circle start coming on and we finish up the last of the emails. It is just a normal office routine with a lot of paperwork and planning. We have been here for a while and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. It is just what we do.
