You can find Touchwood Gift Novelties at 8799/3, 14-B in the Shidipura area of Karol Bagh. Our place is basically a big storage room with a small desk tucked into the corner for paperwork. We deal with all kinds of small gift items and novelties, so there’s always something new to look at. The shelves are pretty high, and we use a rickety ladder to reach the top ones. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when a big shipment comes in and we haven't cleared enough space yet. We spend hours every day just wrapping things in paper and tape to make sure they stay safe. Shidipura is a loud place with lots of traffic, so there’s a constant background noise of horns. We don't have any polished corporate goals. We just want to make sure the boxes go out correctly. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we know where everything is by heart. We have a small radio that stays tuned to the local station all day. It’s just a few of us here, and we handle everything from cleaning the floors to talking to the delivery guys. We don't try to sound like a big company because we aren't. We’re just a local shop doing our best to manage a lot of small items in a busy neighborhood.
