Tirthani Bag House

Tirthani Bag House is located right in the thick of it over in Pahar Ganj. Specifically, we are at A-777/1 in Amar Puri, which is near the Nabi Karim area. If you’ve ever spent any time around here, you know how crowded and lively it gets every single day. There’s always bags and materials moving in and out of the shops on our street. Our space is usually filled to the ceiling with whatever we are working on at the moment. It’s definitely not a showroom where everything is neat and tidy; it’s more of a real working space where stuff actually happens. You’ll find piles of fabric and finished products here and there, and the sound of the street is always coming through the front door. We’ve been in this part of town for a long time, so we know the local rhythms and the people who live here. The morning tea stall guy knows exactly what we want, and we know all the other shop owners on the street. It’s a tight-knit place despite all the chaos and the tourists. We focus on the bags we handle and making sure the orders are ready when they need to be. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the traffic and the noise outside, but that’s just life in Pahar Ganj. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make and sell bags, and we've been doing it from this same spot for years. It’s a humble place, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and work.
