The Mobile Clinic

The Mobile Clinic is based out of No. 18/24 in B Block over in Amrit Vihar, Burari. Even though the name might sound like we are always driving a van around, this is the permanent spot where we do our main work and keep all our supplies. It is a local clinic that the folks in Burari have come to know over the years. We are tucked away in B Block, so it is a bit quieter than the busy main roads nearby. The office itself is pretty simple and functional for what we do. We have the basic medical gear and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait for their turn. We do not have a big reception desk with a dozen people working behind it. Usually, it is just a couple of us handling the phones and seeing the patients as they come in. We like it that way because it keeps everything personal. You really get to know the people living around Amrit Vihar when you work here for a while. We see kids with colds and older folks with their usual aches and pains. It is a steady flow of neighbors coming in and out. We do not do anything too fancy or complicated. If someone needs a specialist, we tell them, but for the day-to-day stuff, we handle it right here. The building is not anything special to look at, but it is clean and it works for our needs every day. We spend our time checking temperatures and helping people out.
