Tend Education Foundation

We are located at 733/43 in Joor Bagh, over in Tri Nagar. It’s a busy part of North Delhi. Tend Education Foundation has been operating from here for some time now. The street is pretty narrow and it gets crowded, especially in the afternoons. Our office is simple. We have some books, some benches, and a lot of papers scattered around. It’s not a library, but it looks like one sometimes. We spend a lot of time talking to local families. North Delhi has a specific vibe, and we’re right in the middle of it. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. It’s part of the routine. We aren't a big organization with fancy logos. Just a few of us who care about the neighborhood. The address is 110035, so we get a lot of mail. We try to keep things moving. Some days are slow, others we can't even take a lunch break. We’ve grown used to the noise from the market nearby. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s our spot. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock, someone will just come to the door and see what you need. That’s the Tend Education Foundation way. We’re just local people working in Tri Nagar. It’s been our home base for years and we know most of the neighbors now.
