We’ve been working out of 61/11 Ramjas Road here in Karol Bagh for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of the market nearby, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Inside, we just handle a lot of tassels and different kinds of fringes for clothes and home stuff. It gets a bit crowded with all the thread and materials lying around on the tables. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and wait or talk for a bit until it comes back on. Our name, Tasselnfringe.Com, is mostly how people find us online, but the real work happens right here on the ground floor. We spend most of the day cutting things to the right length and making sure the colors match what was asked for. It isn’t fancy work, but it keeps us busy. Karol Bagh has changed a lot over the years, more traffic and new shops, but we just stay tucked away on Ramjas Road doing our thing. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it’s where we get everything done. Most of the people working here live close by, so we know each other's families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don’t really do big meetings; we just get the orders and start sorting through the spools of trim. It's a simple setup.
