Our studio is at 228 Asaf Ali Road, which is right across from the police station. If you are in the Kamla Market area of Darya Ganj, you really can't miss the buzz of the place. It is a very old part of Delhi, and the building we are in has that classic cramped feel. We have been doing advertising and studio work here for a long time. The space is filled with old cameras, stacks of printed ads, and a few computers that have been running for years. It is a bit messy, with papers scattered on every flat surface, but we know where everything is. The police station opposite us is a good landmark for people trying to find the shop. The noise from the market is constant—people yelling, trucks unloading, and the general chaos of Darya Ganj. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting lounge. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy. It’s a practical way of working. Sometimes we have to shout over the traffic noise to hear each other. We do a lot of local advertising work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know. We just focus on getting the prints right and making sure the clients are okay with the designs. It is just a local studio life in a very busy part of the city.
