Takshinda Foundation

We are based in Flat No. 306 at 99-ITI, which is right on Lotus Temple Road in Nehru Place. It is quite a famous and busy area in South Delhi 110019. From our small window in the foundation office, we can see the road that leads toward the Lotus Temple. It is a very busy spot with a lot of people moving around, selling electronics or looking for food. The office is inside a big building and 306 is our specific unit number. We have a few chairs and some basic computer setups where we do our work. Takshinda Foundation isn't a massive organization, so this flat suits our needs just fine. It gets a bit crowded when we have more than three or four people in here at once, but we manage. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is lucky because Nehru Place gets very hot during the peak of summer. We are close to the front of Lotus Temple Road, so it is usually easy for people to find the building. There are always people selling things on the pavement outside and plenty of stalls to grab a quick lunch. It is a fast-paced environment but inside our flat, things stay pretty quiet and relaxed. We have our files organized on some old metal shelves and a big calendar on the wall that we actually use for dates.
