If you know New Delhi House on Barakhamba Road, then you know where Tafcon Projects (India) Pvt. Ltd. is. We’re up on the 7th floor in room 705. Being in the heart of Connaught Place means there’s never a quiet moment outside. The traffic is constant, and the metro station is always packed. Inside our office, things are a bit more controlled, but it’s still a busy place. We spend our days working on various projects, mostly dealing with the organizing side of things. It’s a lot of spreadsheets and emails. The building itself is one of those older high-rises in Delhi that has seen better days, but it has a certain character that we’ve grown to like. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we’re a smaller team that knows each other well. Sometimes we have lunch together at the small stalls downstairs. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, handle the project files, and try to make sure everything is ready for the next event. It’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that people don't always see. We like being centrally located because it’s easy for people to drop by, even if the elevators in New Delhi House take forever during the lunch rush. It is just where we work and we like it that way. We just keep things moving.
