We are up on the seventh floor of New Delhi House. It is a busy spot right on Barakhamba Road, and we have been here for quite some time now. Most of our days are spent looking at floor plans or talking on the phone with different vendors and people we work with. The office is usually full of papers, blueprints, and half-empty coffee mugs. Many of us take the metro to work since the station is right there, which really helps when the traffic gets bad around lunch or in the evening. We handle a lot of different projects, mostly trade shows and big events where companies come to show off what they make. It gets pretty loud and hectic in here when a big deadline is coming up. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the elevators in this building take forever, but you just get used to it after a while. We focus on getting the booths set up and making sure the organizers have whatever they need from us. It is not glamorous work, but it keeps the team busy throughout the year. Most of the people here have been on the staff for years, so we know how to handle the sudden changes that always happen with events. We are just a group of people trying to keep things running smooth from our little corner of the city.
