You can find System Appliances Co. tucked away in Lane No. 22 at Nai Basti. The address is 408/5A/1, which can be a bit tricky for the delivery drivers to find the first time they come to Anand Parbat. It is a tight area with a lot of small workshops and houses all mixed together on the same street. We have been operating out of this spot for many years. Inside the building, it is mostly shelves filled with parts for various home and industrial appliances. We spend our days taking things apart and seeing why they stopped working for the customers. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we have enough desk lamps to see the small wires. It gets quite hot in the summer months because the narrow lane does not get much of a breeze. We do not have a fancy showroom or a website that looks professional or polished. Most of our work comes from people living in the neighborhood or folks who heard about us from a friend. We keep a simple logbook on the front desk to track what comes in for repair. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out in Nai Basti, and we just wait it out with a cup of water. We are not a huge team, just a few guys who know how to fix stuff and keep things running.
