Swagat Zindagi Foundation

Our office is located at Plot A-154, KH109/17. We are in Gali Number 25 of Raja Puri, which is in the Uttam Nagar area. It’s a very busy part of the city with a lot of people moving around. The building is easy to spot once you get into the lane. We occupy a small section of the plot. Inside, we have some basic furniture and a few fans to keep us cool. The walls are painted a simple white color that’s starting to peel a bit in the corners. We spend our mornings checking the mail and talking about the schedule for the week. There is always noise from the street, like bikes and vendors shouting their prices. We don't mind it much anymore. It’s just the sound of the neighborhood. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee or tea. Most of our work is done sitting around a large central table that we all share. We have a lot of visitors from the local area who just drop by to say hello or ask a quick question. It's an informal place. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes for a regular day of work. The lights flicker sometimes when the load is high on the grid but we just keep going. It’s an honest place where we try to get things done without making a big deal out of it. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there for years.
