Survival Engineers Llp is tucked away in Room No 205 of Caxton House. If you know Rani Jhansi Road in Jhandewalan, you know it’s a busy spot. The building is older, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb, but we like it here. We do engineering work, mostly the technical stuff that other people find boring. Our desks are covered in drawings and old manuals. It’s not a modern office with glass walls. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get solved. We’ve been in Jhandewalan for a good stretch of time now. We often go down to the street for lunch because there are so many good stalls nearby. The name sounds a bit intense, but we are just a small group of engineers. We handle projects for various clients who find us through word of mouth. We don't have a receptionist. If you knock on the door of Room 205, one of us will just look up from our computer. It’s a quiet place to work despite the noise from Rani Jhansi Road outside. We focus on the math and the designs. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but our office is bright enough. We just keep our heads down and do the engineering tasks as they come in. It is just us and our machines.
