Sunil Scooter Spares is at 2065/38 on Hari Singh Nalwa Street. As you can tell from the name, we mostly deal with parts for scooters. The shop is quite small and it is filled from floor to ceiling with tiny boxes containing screws, cables, and various engine bits. It is a very specific kind of work and you have to know exactly what you are looking for. Many of our customers have been riding the same old scooters for twenty years and they come to us to keep them running. We spend a lot of time cleaning grease off parts and looking through old catalogs to find the right match. The shop gets a bit crowded when more than two people are inside at the same time. We usually end up standing out on the street to talk to customers. Hari Singh Nalwa Street is a loud place, so we often have to shout to be heard over the engines. We don't have a website or any fancy technology. We just have a notebook where we write down what we sell and what we need to order. It is a bit old-fashioned but it has worked for us so far. Sunil is usually here every day unless something urgent comes up. We just take things one day at a time and try to help people get back on the road.
