Our office is located at 314 Arunachal, B-19, on Barakhamba Road. Being in this part of New Delhi means we are right in the middle of everything. Barakhamba Road is always packed with cars and people rushing to work. Our building, Arunachal, is one of those older ones that has seen a lot over the years. We’ve been here at Sun Commodity & Derivative for quite some time now. The office itself is pretty basic. We have our computers, some desks, and a lot of paper. Commodity work means we spend a lot of time watching numbers and talking on the phone. It’s not very glamorous, but it’s what we do. We aren't the type to have a fancy lobby or people in suits at the front door. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the bell if someone knocks. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good because Delhi summers are no joke. We get our lunch from the local stalls nearby or bring it from home to eat at our desks. It’s a steady routine. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to make sure our clients are taken care of and that the day ends without too many problems. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where we just focus on the numbers and the trades we need to manage before we head home for the night.
