Sumit Jain

My name is Sumit Jain and I run my business out of Karol Bagh. Specifically, I’m at Gali Number 1 in Krishan Nagar, number 5121/1. It’s a tight street and can get pretty crowded during the day. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. My shop isn't a showroom. It’s where the actual work happens. You’ll see tools and parts everywhere. I don’t have a staff of twenty people. It’s just a few of us who know what we’re doing. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word travels fast enough in Karol Bagh if you do right by people. Sometimes customers have to wait a bit because we get backed up. I don’t like rushing things because that’s when mistakes happen. We take our time and do it properly. The building at 5121/1 is old, but it does the job. I keep the doors open so the air moves through. You hear the bikes and the shouting from the street all day. It’s just how it is here. I’m usually there from early morning until late. There isn't a lot of mystery to what I do. People bring me things, I look at them, and we see if we can make it work. It’s a simple way to make a living and I’m used to it. Most folks just know where to find me when they need something fixed.
