Store Supply (India) Agency

We have been operating Store Supply (India) Agency from our office at 705, Akash Deep Building on Barakhamba Road for quite some time now. It is a busy spot in Delhi, and most people around here know where we are. We mostly deal with getting things to stores and making sure the supplies are handled right. It started small, just a couple of desks and a lot of phone calls. Now, the office has more papers and more people, but it still feels the same. We spend most of our days talking to vendors and checking on deliveries. Sometimes the traffic on Barakhamba Road makes it hard for visitors to get here, but once they are inside, it is quiet enough to get work done. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to us. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs something for their shop, they call us up and we see if we can get it. There isn't a big philosophy behind it, just daily work. We show up every morning, open the doors, and start going through the orders. The building is old but sturdy. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. It gets hot in the summer, but we have the fans going. That’s pretty much how we run things here day to day. We don't have a website or anything fancy, just a phone that rings a lot and some old ledger books in boxes.
