Sports Goods Export Promotion Council

We are located at 1-E/6, Swami Ram Tirth Nagar. This is the office for the Sports Goods Export Promotion Council. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but that’s who we are. The office is situated in a fairly busy part of the city. We spend our days surrounded by files, reports, and sometimes samples of sports equipment that people send over. It’s more of an administrative environment than a retail shop. We have several desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get full. Most of our time is taken up with paperwork and coordinating with different people in the sports industry. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do here. We’ve been at this address for quite a few years. The building is standard for this area. We have a small area where we meet with visitors, usually just a couple of chairs and a table with some old magazines. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more traffic and new buildings popping up. We just keep to our routine. It’s a steady job and we like being in this part of town. There are plenty of places nearby to grab lunch, which is a plus for the staff. The clock on the wall ticks loud but it keeps us on schedule.
