Special Holidays

We have been here in Karol Bagh for a while now. The office is usually a bit messy with brochures and papers everywhere. People walk in asking about train tickets or some trip they saw online. It gets pretty loud outside because of the market, but we are used to it. Most days we are just sitting here on the phones or typing away on the old computers. It's not a fancy place, just a regular office where we try to get things done. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. My desk is right by the window so I see everything happening on the street. It is a lot of work coordinating stuff for people. We spend a lot of time checking dates and prices. It’s funny how much people worry about their vacations, but I guess that’s normal. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a small team here. We know each other well. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, especially during the busy season. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep. I keep meaning to get the light fixed in the hallway. That’s just how it is here in this part of town. We just keep at it every day, making sure the bookings are right and the paperwork is in order.
