Our place is located at 42 Bagh Diwar in the Fatehpuri area. If you know Old Delhi, you know how crowded and busy these lanes can get. It is a very old part of the city and everything is packed together. We have been operating out of this spot for years. It’s a small office, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the newer parts of town. Every morning the market starts waking up early, and by the time we open the shutters, the whole street is full of people and carts. It is loud and sometimes it feels a bit chaotic, but that is just how things are here in Fatehpuri. We spend our day managing the stock and talking to people who come in. There isn't much room for fancy stuff, so we just keep things simple. The walls are a bit old and the ceiling is high, typical of these old buildings. Finding parking is a nightmare, so most of us just walk from the nearest point or use the rickshaws. We know the neighbors well, and there is always someone passing by with news or just to say hello. It is a tight-knit community here. We do our work, keep our records straight, and head home when the sun starts to go down. It's a humble way to run a business, but it works for us and we like being part of the history here.
