Sommahashanti Welfare Foundation

We are located at 6/56 on the ground floor in Vishwas Nagar, right in Shahdara. Sommahashanti Welfare Foundation started because we saw stuff that needed fixing in our part of Delhi. It isn't a huge operation. Mostly just a few of us working from this ground floor space. Shahdara is a lively place, 110032. You probably know the traffic around here if you live nearby. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or slogans. That feels like a waste of time. Instead, we just focus on the daily tasks. Some people find the name a bit long to say, but it means something to us. Life in Vishwas Nagar moves fast, and we try to keep up. Our door is usually open for whatever comes up during the week. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls. It's a real place where actual work happens. We drink a lot of tea and talk about how to get things done. The neighborhood knows us. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but that’s just how it goes when you’re trying to run a foundation like this. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it. It’s hard work sometimes, but it is definitely worth the effort to see things improve locally.
