Sobhagya Medical Centre

We are located right in the middle of Kamla Nagar market at E-174. It gets pretty crowded around here during the day, especially with all the shoppers and students from the nearby colleges walking past the front door. The big landmark for us is the Big Goal Chakar parking which is just a short walk away from the building. Inside the centre, things are usually a bit quieter than the street outside, though you can still hear the horns honking. We have been here for quite some time now, dealing with all sorts of general health issues that people bring to us. Our staff knows most of the regular faces who come in for their check-ups or when they aren't feeling well. The waiting area has some old chairs and magazines that have seen better days, but they do the job for the few minutes people stay there. We keep the place clean and tidy as much as possible despite the dust that blows in from the main road every time someone opens the door. Every morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and getting the patient files ready for the day's appointments. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait if several people arrive at once without calling ahead, but we try to keep things moving along. Living and working in North Delhi means we are used to the noise and the quick pace of the city life around us. We just focus on seeing the patients and making sure they get what they need before they head back out into the busy market streets. It is a simple, practical setup.
