You can find us at Bhagat Singh Market, F 55. It’s a very busy part of the city, and the market is always packed with people looking for deals. We have a small storefront that’s been here for quite some time. Inside, it’s a bit of a squeeze because we try to keep as much stock as possible on the shelves. We sell various goods, and things are piled up pretty high. The floor is made of that old grey stone, and it’s worn down in the spots where people stand the most. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of our notes and tallies are still kept in those big registers with the red covers. It’s a bit noisy with the street vendors right outside and the traffic passing by. We have a ceiling fan that hums loudly, but we need it because it gets very hot in the afternoons. We aren't a big fancy showroom with air conditioning and glass doors. It’s an open shop where you can just walk in. We spend our day talking to customers and haggling a bit, which is just part of the market life. Sometimes we share a tea with the neighbor who runs the shop next door. It’s a simple way of doing business. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just open up the shutters every morning and see what the day brings.
