Being located in Anand Parbat at Gali Number 4K 29Q/8A means dealing with a lot of noise and metal every single day. Our workshop is tucked away in one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful how you park your bike. It’s a tough area to work in because of the heat from the machines and the constant sound of grinding and hammers hitting steel. We spend most of our hours covered in a bit of grease and oil, but that is just how the job is. The floor is concrete and always has some spare parts lying around that we are currently working on. We started here because this part of Delhi is where all the auto work happens, so it made sense for us to set up here too. The neighbors are all doing similar things, so there is always someone nearby who can lend a tool if we are missing one. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because the work speaks for itself when someone brings in a part that needs fixing. It’s mostly just us and the machines from morning until late at night. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if the deadline is tight. The air smells like oil and burnt metal, which might bother some people, but it’s just the smell of work to us. We just keep our heads down and get through the day's list without much fuss.
