Simplex Infrastructures Ltd Kolkata

It is a bit funny that our branch is called Simplex Infrastructures Ltd Kolkata but we are actually sitting in New Delhi. We’ve got this office on the 4th floor of a building in Old Rajinder Nagar, number 23/24. If the lift isn't working, which happens more than we'd like, those stairs are a real workout for everyone. The street outside is always packed with people and students because of all the coaching centers nearby, so it’s never quiet. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of files and a few of us trying to keep the administrative side of things moving along. We handle a lot of the paperwork that comes in from the various sites, and sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in blue prints and invoices. The chai wallah downstairs knows our order by heart now. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a dusty clock. It’s a busy place, but we keep it pretty informal. We talk about the cricket scores while we wait for the printer to stop acting up. Even though the name says Kolkata, this Delhi office is where the grind happens for us every day. We just show up, do the hours, and make sure the emails get sent out before the day ends. It's nothing too special, just a regular office life in a crowded part of the city. We get by just fine with our tea and our tasks.
