Shri Durga Timbers

We are up on the third floor at 3406, D.B. Gupta Road in Karol Bagh. If you know this area, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in Delhi. Being on the third floor means we have to haul everything up the stairs or use the old lift if it's working that day. Our space is filled with the scent of raw wood and timber. It’s not a showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a functional space where we keep our records and some smaller wood samples. Most of the heavy stuff is handled elsewhere, but this is where the business happens. We’ve got stacks of ledgers and a few old desks that have been around as long as the business has. The windows look out over the chaotic street below, which is always interesting to watch during a break. We’ve been in Karol Bagh for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the noise and the crowds, we stay here because it’s central for our trade. It’s a simple operation run by people who know their wood. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just sell timber and make sure the accounts are right. It’s a bit dusty and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us.
