Shri Balaji Paints & Hardware

Our shop is tucked away in Nai Basti over in Anand Parbat. The address is 52/74 M if you are looking for it. We have been here for a bit, selling mostly paint and various hardware items that people need for their houses. It is a busy area with a lot of narrow lanes, so things can get a bit hectic during the middle of the day. We have stacks of pipes and buckets of paint taking up most of the space inside. Most of our customers are just local people from the neighborhood who need a few nails or a hammer, or maybe a liter of white paint to touch up a wall. We also keep some plumbing supplies because people always seem to have a leaky tap that needs fixing. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most days. We keep the doors open from morning till late. It’s nothing fancy, just a plain hardware store where you can find what you need without a lot of fuss. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we spend a lot of time just cleaning the cans. We don't have a big website or anything, we just rely on people walking by or neighbors telling each other where to go. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it keeps us busy.
