Shraddhaz Playway & Daycare Foundation

Our foundation is situated at 7/22 Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. If you know Delhi, you know Darya Ganj is a place that never really stops moving. It’s famous for the book markets and the old buildings. We run a playway and daycare here. The building has been around for a long time, and you can see that in the thick walls and the old-style windows. Inside, it’s a mix of bright colors we painted on the walls and the usual clutter you find where kids are playing. We have a lot of plastic blocks and some old mats on the floor. It’s not a massive space, but we make use of every corner we have. The sounds from the street outside are quite loud, with the rickshaws and the cars constantly honking, but once the kids start playing, you don't notice it as much. We have a small kitchen area where we heat up lunches for the staff and the children. Our day starts pretty early when the first parents drop off their children on their way to work. By the afternoon, the place is a bit of a mess with toys everywhere, but we tidy up before we head home. It’s a practical setup for the families living around 110092. We don’t have a big corporate board or anything fancy. It’s just us looking after the little ones and making sure they have a safe place to be during the day.
