Sharma Constructions

Our place is over on Maan Singh Road, tucked away in Darbhanga House Lane at House Number 1. It’s a busy area of New Delhi, but our little corner stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We’ve been doing construction work for a long time now. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or supplies get delayed at the border. We spend most of our days talking to laborers and checking on materials. It's a lot of physical work and sometimes your back hurts by the end of the week, but that's just part of the trade. We don't spend much time worrying about being flashy. We’d rather just get the concrete poured right. People around here know us as the guys who show up early and stay until things are sorted. My brother handles most of the site visits while I stay back to deal with the phone calls and the local permits. We’ve had this office for years and the walls are covered in photos of old projects we did back when the city looked different. It’s funny how much things change while you’re just busy working. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sign. Mostly it’s just us doing what we know how to do. If the rain holds off, we can get a lot done in a day. That’s pretty much our life here on Maan Singh Road. We just keep at it, one brick at a time.
