Shanti Auto Turns

We are tucked away in Anand Parbat Gali No 8, at house number 25/7. Shanti Auto Turns has been in this little street for a good number of years. If you’ve ever been to Gali No 8, you know it’s narrow and always has something going on. Our workshop at 25/7 is mostly dedicated to auto turning work. It’s a noisy business, with the lathes running almost constantly. The air smells like metal and cutting oil. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s just the nature of the work we do. We have piles of turned parts sitting in bins waiting to be picked up. The lighting is a bit dim, but we have lamps over the machines so we can see what we’re doing. There isn't a fancy office here, just a small corner with a stool and a table where we keep the records. We don't have a website or anything like that. People usually find us because they know we are here at 25/7. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when there’s a big order to finish. We don't talk much while the machines are on because you can't hear anything anyway. When we take a break, we usually stand out in the lane to get some air. It’s just a normal workshop doing honest work in a busy part of the city. Most of us have been working here since we were young, so the routine at 25/7 feels like second nature.
