Sethi General Store

Our store is tucked away at P-11 in Partap Nagar. It is one of those places where we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves, from soap and lentils to the snacks the kids ask for after school. The space is a bit tight because we keep adding more items whenever a customer asks for something we do not have. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names or at least by what they usually buy on a Tuesday morning. The wooden shelves are old and have been repainted a few times over the years. We keep the milk crates near the front so they are easy to grab first thing in the morning. It is a family thing, so there is usually someone from the house sitting behind the register. We do not have fancy scanners or a big cooling system, just a couple of fans that hum all day long. Sometimes the cat from next door wanders in and finds a spot to sleep near the rice sacks. It is a quiet life, mostly just counting change and restocking the jars of candy. We stay open late because people always forget that one ingredient they need for dinner. It is just a regular shop for the folks living around here in Partap Nagar. We have been doing this for a long time and don't plan on changing much about how the store looks or runs.
