Sethi Bearing

I've been hanging around Naiwala for a long time now. Sethi Bearing is basically just a spot here in Karol Bagh where we keep a lot of stock piled up on the shelves. 47/1859 is the address if you're looking for it, right in the thick of things. It’s a busy area, lots of noise and people moving parts around all day. We mostly deal with all kinds of bearings that people need for their machines or vehicles. The shop isn't fancy at all. It’s got dust on the counters and the tea guy comes by every hour. Sometimes it gets crowded and we have to dig through the back to find a specific size someone is asking for. My hands usually have a bit of grease on them by noon. That’s just how it is working here. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. People just know we are here in the market. I try to keep things organized but with so many small pieces, it’s a constant battle. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk to the neighbors. Other days, three people are shouting for different parts at once. It’s a bit of a squeeze in the lane, so most people just walk in. We’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years but the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a simple living. I usually spend the evenings double checking the ledgers to make sure things are right.
