Seby Camera Electronics

Seby Camera Electronics is located at M-18 in the Central Hall of Palika Bazar. Being in the Central Hall means we are right in the thick of things in Connaught Place. It’s a very busy spot and there is never a dull moment. We spend our hours surrounded by all kinds of electronics, mostly cameras and the little accessories that go with them. The shop is small, like most places in Palika, so we have to use every inch of space we have. You’ll see cameras sitting on the counters and cables hanging from the walls. It’s not a sleek store. It’s a place where we are actually working and testing things out for people. We get visitors from all over the world stopping in because of where we are located. Some are just looking, and some really need a specific battery or a memory card for their trip. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us here behind the glass counters. We deal with the heat and the crowds every day, and we’ve gotten pretty good at it. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed even when the market is loud and frantic. There’s always a cup of tea nearby and someone to chat with. We have been in this unit for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the market change over the years. It’s just how we make our living, one camera at a time, right in the middle of Delhi.
