S.C.S. International

S.C.S. International is based on the first floor at 4690, Shora Kothi in Paharganj. It’s a busy area, lots of hotels and shops around us. Being on the first floor gives us a little bit of distance from the street noise, but not much. We’ve been here for several years. Our office isn't very large. It’s mostly desks, computers, and files. We deal with international trade, so we’re often on the phone or checking emails. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep. We know the other people in the building. It’s a mix of different businesses. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. We don't have a corporate mission statement on the wall. We just want to get the shipping documents right and make sure everything arrives where it’s supposed to go. It’s a lot of detail work. We aren't fancy people. We wear comfortable clothes and drink a lot of water because of the heat. Paharganj has a certain energy that keeps you going. We like it here despite the crowds. It’s a convenient location for us. We’ve managed to build a steady routine over the years at this address. Every day brings a new set of papers to sign and calls to make, and we just handle them one by one until evening.
