You can find us on the third floor of Essel Tower, which is at Plot No. 4 on D.B. Gupta Road. Paharganj is always a bit of a mess with all the people and the traffic, but once you get up to Room 301, it’s a bit calmer. We are the Save Consumer Rights Foundation. We deal with people who have problems with things they bought or services that didn't work out. It’s a lot of listening to stories and looking at receipts. The office is full of files and folders because there is always something new coming in. We have a few desks squeezed in and a water cooler that’s always nearly empty. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a practical space where we do our work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. Central Delhi is a busy place to be, and we are right in the thick of it. We spend most of our day on the phone or writing letters. It’s basic work, nothing too flashy. We just try to help out with consumer issues as they come up. The noise from D.B. Gupta Road is always there in the background, but we don't mind it much anymore. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork. It's a lot of work and sometimes the paperwork feels like it's never going to end. But we just take it one file at a time. The office is small and stuffy, but we manage.
