Satish Aggarwal & Associates is located at 5051, Dargha Sabri in the Darya Ganj area of Delhi. If you’ve ever been to Darya Ganj, you know how crowded and loud it can get. Our office is right in the middle of all that. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned space, but it works for us. Satish has been doing this for a long time and the rest of us just help out with the day-to-day accounting stuff. We deal with a lot of local shop owners and small businesses from the neighborhood. Most of them have been coming to us for years. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything. You just walk in and sit down if there’s a chair free. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and trying to make sense of receipts that people bring in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is here. The area is full of history and we feel like a part of it now. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We just help people with their taxes and bookkeeping. There’s always someone drinking tea and talking about the latest tax rules. It’s a busy place but we manage to keep things organized enough to get the work finished on time. We don't use any fancy software that promises miracles, just the standard tools and a lot of manual checking to make sure nothing is missed.
