Sarvmangalya Socialwelfare Foundation

Our place, the Sarvmangalya Socialwelfare Foundation, is located in Shakarpur at Number 76 in the WB Block of Ganesh Nagar-2. This part of East Delhi is quite crowded, and finding a parking spot near our building is always a bit of a challenge. The office is in a standard residential-style building. We have a few rooms that we have turned into workspace. It is pretty simple inside with some basic desks and a few shelves for all the documents we have to keep. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving furniture around, but we do not mind much. We spend a lot of time just sitting around the main table discussing what needs to be done for the week. There is a small balcony where we keep some dry mops and buckets. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and vendors, but it keeps us feeling connected to the neighborhood. We usually start the day around nine and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes we have folks from the nearby blocks stop by just to say hello or ask for help with some paperwork. It is a very grounded environment. We do not use any fancy software or high-tech gadgets, just old-fashioned pens and paper for most things. It is a honest way to work and we have been here for a good while now, just doing our part.
