We work out of House No 747 on the ground floor, located on Street No 23 along Joshi Road. This is right in the heart of Central Delhi. We focus on empowerment projects, which basically means we spend our time on anything that helps people in the community get ahead. The office is just a converted house, so it feels very familiar and not at all corporate. There are a few rooms filled with desks and stacks of paper. It’s a busy place because being in Central Delhi means people can reach us from all over. The noise from Joshi Road is always there in the background, with rickshaws and people talking outside. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there to help you. We handle a lot of different projects at once, so things can get a bit chaotic on Mondays. We usually have a meeting in the morning to figure out who is doing what. It’s a small group of us and we all know each other well. We don't use a lot of complicated language or business talk. We just focus on the practical bits of our projects. It’s a good place to work if you like being in the middle of everything. We’ve been at this address for several years now.
