Sanjay Auto Industries

The shop is located at Anand Parbat Gali No 9 B-29. If you know this area then you know how narrow the lanes are and how many small industries are packed together here. Sanjay Auto Industries is one of those places where there is always the smell of oil and the sound of metal being worked on. We have been in this gali for years. My day starts early to get the machines warmed up before the heat of the afternoon kicks in. We handle a lot of auto parts and there are always piles of finished items waiting to be shipped out. It is a small space so we have to be careful about how we stack things. Sometimes the delivery rickshaws have a hard time getting through the lane when it gets crowded. I usually have a logbook where I write down everything that comes in and goes out. It is a lot of manual work and my hands are usually dirty by noon. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big showroom. People come here because they know we are here and they know what we produce. We talk to the neighbors a lot while we work and sometimes share a cold drink when it gets too hot in the summer. It is just steady work every day and we stay busy enough to keep the doors open and the machines turning. We finish up late and get ready to do it all again.
