Samatha Jan Kalyan Foundation

Our office for Samatha Jan Kalyan Foundation is on the first floor of building 31 in Hemkunt Colony. That is in the Greater Kailash-1 area of South Delhi. It is a well-known part of the city, so people usually find us without too much trouble. Being on the first floor is better than being in a basement or way up high. We can see what is happening on the street below. Hemkunt Colony is a mix of residential and small offices, so it feels quite lived-in. We have been here for a while. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying boxes, which happens more often than you would think. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the main table just going through files and making calls. It is a basic setup. We have a small pantry for making tea, and that gets a lot of use. The neighborhood is fairly green for Delhi, and there are some decent places to grab a quick snack around the corner. Sometimes the traffic on the main road nearby gets loud, but inside it stays mostly okay. We just go about our business day by day. It is a practical location for us since it is central enough for everyone to reach. We like the vibe of GK-1; it has a bit of everything. There is a small park nearby where we sometimes sit during lunch just to get some air before getting back to it.
