Saksham Jha Foundation

This is Saksham Jha Foundation. We are based out of Flat No 147 in Shivani Apartment, which is over at Plot No 63 in IP Extension. It is basically a residential setup. We share the space with Rashmi Kumari’s name on the door. IP Extension is a pretty crowded part of town with lots of apartment blocks everywhere. Ours is just one of many, but we have our own way of doing things here. Getting into the building can be a bit of a process with the security gate and finding a spot for a scooter or car. The flat itself is not too big, but it serves us well for what we need to do. We spend most of our mornings drinking chai and looking over the papers on the table. Living and working in the same general area makes things simpler. There is a lot of noise from the neighbors sometimes, kids playing in the hallways or people moving stuff around, but that is just how it is in these big apartment complexes. We have been at Shivani Apartment for a bit now. It is a familiar place. Most of the delivery guys know where Flat 147 is by now. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we sit and work through the day. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish. The lift breaks down occasionally, so we get some exercise on the stairs.
